Kairus Shavak Dadachanji, chairman of the Dadachanji Group of Companies invested Rs 156 crore through a bulk deal as the wealthy investor bought 1.5 crore units in Shrem InvIT at Rs 104 per unit, the company said in a release. The move resulted in 4.6% stake holding in the infrastructure trust.

NHAI, last year, had set up its InvIT whose units were listed on the NSE and BSE giving it an enterprise valuation of ₹8,012 crore. The state-owned authority had launched its InvIT as a mode to monetise operational roads, as it has the largest share under the National Monetisation Pipeline.

Infrastructure developer Dilip Buildcon Ltd has signed a term sheet with privately owned family business Chhatwal Group Trust (Shrem Group) to sell its entire stake in 24 of its road projects for Rs1,600 crore, the company said in a filing to stock exchanges.
